Our Mission
Welcome to the Fargo Baptist Church Veterans Ministry (FBC VetMin) page. The mission of the FBC VetMin is ultimately to glorify God. We seek to achieve this by edifying fellow veterans. To edify means to “build up” and there are various ways to strive to accomplish this. We believe the spiritual needs of the veteran often go unattended and are of critical importance. We are here for you – to build you up spiritually as you acknowledge this area of need or express an interest in learning more about our mission.

is for veterans in the FM area, led by veterans,
and supported by the people of FBC.
Our Strategy
Bi-monthly Breakfast
We know that as veterans get together, we often enjoy the fellowship of others with a common experience. If you are a vet, we'd like to invite you and your spouse to join us every other month for a free breakfast. Come and “rub elbows” with those who “get it”.
Discipled Veterans
Discipled Veterans (DV) is here to provide an often lost sense of comradery experienced while on active duty and to come alongside local veterans who may feel like there is no hope for them because of where they’ve been and what they’ve done. DV will meet weekly with vets to show them that the Bible has more to say about the warrior than they may realize. For instance, King David of old was a warrior by any standard - and yet God refers to him as “a man after [His] own heart”.
Discipled Veterans is all about meeting vets where they are to lead them to where they want - or need - to be. Discipled Veterans in other parts of our country has literally saved the lives of some of our veterans as they’ve enlisted into the faith and then engage in training.
